The public art features large tin cups created by J.T. Cullen Company. Businesses and organizations will decorate the cups and place them on display throughout Fulton during the summer and fall. Currently, a total of 25 cups will be on display. This kick-off event features all of the cups. The festivities include cake, coffee, and fellowship. Harbor Crest is the site of Fulton founder John Baker's cabin.

The Sterling Park District Summer Sizzler 5K Run/Walk is a great event for both the serious runner & non-competitive walker. The event celebrates National Trails Day and travels along a bike path through two beautiful local parks. Lots of snacks and give-aways. Registration fee is $16 through May 28th and $20 from May 29th thru race day. Students thru 12th grade can register for $10.00.

The 'De Immigrant' volunteer millers will host speaker Lisa Riggs. Riggs has been the general manager at the Danish windmill in Elk Horn, Iowa, since 1977. Elk Horn is a Danish community of less than 700 residents in western Iowa. The mill was dismantled in Denmark and shipped to Iowa where it was rebuilt. The event is free, open to the public and handicap accessible.
