Malta, located west of DeKalb, is proud to be the home to the "first seedling mile" on the Lincoln Highway which runs from Times Square, New York to San Francisco, California. This mile can still be seen today as you travel through Malta. Malta is also home to Kishwaukee College which was founded in 1968. Don't miss this beautiful, small rural community and its amenities.
