Throughout the Illinois Lincoln Highway National Scenic Byway cookbook you will discover over 50 highly detailed, original pen and ink drawings by artist David Alan Badger. The histories and architecture represented in the cookbook are as historic as the highway itself. You will also find a complete list of all the Illinois Lincoln Highway Interpretive Mural and Gazebo locations.

Each community site is listed with a descriptive narrative and an index of area businesses that have taken part in the cookbook. The local contributions include a unique story and recipe to represent their business.
