• Summer Music Festivals

    As the weather warms up there are plenty of great festivals this summer along the Lincoln Highway.
    The Aurora Live Summer Concert Series is happening every first Friday, second Saturday and most Wednesdays of the month in downtown Aurora. This free event has music, food and more! Be sure to check the website for exact dates.
    Listen to bluegrass music at the Frankfort Bluegrass Festival from July 8th to 9th and have a weekend of music and fun.

  • Summer is Here!!

    It's the first day of summer! There are plenty of things to do and see along the Lincoln Highway over the summer months. Here are a few things you can do.
    Watch the latest movies at the Midway Drive-In Theatre in Sterling. 

    Take a hike in one of our many State Parks or Forest Preserves to get up close and personal with nature. 

    If the weather gets too hot, go to one of our many museums. The Joliet Historical Museum has a special exhibit through September about Joliet Area Sports Hall of Famers.
